NBE Nieuwjaarsconcert
In 2018, the year that Leeuwarden-Fryslân is Cultural Capital of Europe, the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble collaborates for its famous, annual Newyear's Concert with King of the Meadows. Together they put the godwit in the spotlights, the Dutch national bird that is seriously endangered, and is a strong symbol for the loss of biodiversity throughout Europe.
This concert is an ode to diversity.
The concert was held in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and was live broadcasted by the Dutch television (BNNVARA).
